DDA to Launch Largest Housing Scheme 2014

DDA announced to launch its largest Housing Scheme in Delhi with 27000 flats. The 2014 DDA (Delhi Development Scheme) will have flats across all categories with majority of units will be for economically weaker section (EWS).

The objective of DDA for 2014 Housing Scheme is that a majority of economically weaker section can get his own home in Delhi at affordable rates. These flats will be ranging from 1 bedroom to 3 Bedroom flats.










As per DDA Official around 90% of flats (which means 24000 units) will be kept for draw, mainly for EWS people. The flats of EWS will be priced above Rs 12 lakhs. There will 1500 flats on Sale for the middle income group (MIG) which will range between Rs 30 lakh to 80 Lakh. There will be 1375 flats for High Income Group (HIG) which will start from Rs 1 crore.

Delhi Housing Scheme 2010 was last when DDA offered more than 16000 flats, and lakhs of of Delhites applied for the scheme.  It has been 4 years, and people of Delhi were waiting for new scheme from DDA.

EWS houses will be created in the parts of Rohini, Dwarka, Narela and Sultangarhi.

Following are Normal Rules from DDA (Subject to Change):
  • A person above the age of 18 years, residing in any part of the country, can apply for the scheme.
  • The applicant should not own any residential flat or plot in full or in part on lease hold or freehold basis in Delhi either in his or her own name or in the name of the spouse or minor or dependent children.
  • One person can only submit one application form. DDA will make a formal announcement/advertisement in this regard soon to announce the price range or the specific areas where these flats are located along with other details soon.
